NAB 2018 – Review and Wrap-up - Joint Program SMPTE & SSPI-SE

One of the most significant events for the TV and media content industry every year is the NAB International conference held in Las Vegas in the spring.  Every April over 100,000 professionals will gather in Vegas, NOT to get “wild”, gamble, see spectacular shows and wine and dine in an array of excellent restaurants.

Instead, they come to learn; to see for themselves and to find out what’s the latest and greatest with all kinds of developments and changes being made in the broadcast and media business.  New equipment and new concepts will be on display and friends from every area of the business will be there. Several weeks after everyone returns home, settles down and gather their thoughts and impressions, these friends from our four industry representative groups hold what is now our annual NAB REVIEW meeting. And … we get to hear and find out what these knowledgeable colleagues have seen, tried out and learned about while away from home in the Nevada desert.

Our panel discussion of NAB has become a yearly event. Please join us to hear about what was exciting and new at the convention this year from our panel and participate in an open discussion.

If you have attended this event in the past you know this is not an event to miss. If this will be your first time, you owe it to yourself to come and join us.

Remember, if you cannot attend in person you can attend by streaming the meeting. But as always, if you are attending live we need to ensure we have enough food and you are on the security access list, or if you are streaming we need to make sure you get login information (and we can support everyone).
